The last we talked was in 2015…Your responses shocked me!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday [seems like so long ago already!] and a happy New Year. Have you made any resolutions?

Or, set new goals for yourself or your business for 2016?

I love a fresh start and planning what I want to accomplish each year. The last email I sent I asked if you all of you could reply back and let me know what you wanted to hear more about on Frugal Fanatic. My blog started as only saving money and then I added making money. I was surprised to hear so many of you wanted to actually hear more about making money with blogging and what I actually do to create an income from home.

I have always kept this separate because I also have a blog called Simply Blogging Along which is dedicated to blogging and business. This is normally where I share everything that deals with blogging, but if you are interested in hearing more then I would LOVE to share more about it with you. At the end of last year, I mentioned in my newsletter that I do earn a full-time income from blogging. I get WAY too excited when it comes to talking about blogging and business. I am extremely passionate about what I do and I know this sounds corny but I do look forward to my work every single day.

It is fun and rewarding. But, there is a lot of work involved. Many people start a blog for the wrong reasons. They see everyone else earning money online and want to do the same.

If that is your #1 reason to start a blog then I would re-think your decision before you hop in. You need to be passionate about your blog and you need to be providing your audience with value. If you put in the work you will see the results.
